High goals
Our family has been raising cattle for four generations in the prairie land 10 miles north of Circle, Montana. Our cattle are raised on beautiful Eastern Montana grass. They never see a large commercial feed lot and in small loads are taken from our ranch to a local processor.
Running a start-to-finish beef business is no easy task. Our entire family pitches in on a daily basis to help keep the cattle happy and healthy.
We produce grass-fed, grain-finished beef. We utilize this technique to improve marbling, for increased flavor. At the processor, the meat dry-aged for 14 days without any hormones added.

“Cattlemen’s Standard is a family owned and operated business bringing you the highest quality meat. Our cattle are raised on beautiful Eastern Montana grass. They never see a large commercial feed lot and in small loads are taken from our ranch to a local slaughterhouse. We produce grass fed grain finished beef (this technique is utilized to improve marbling for increased flavor). The cattle are also dry aged for 14 days without any hormones added. Our family has been raising cattle for four generations and our mission is to provide delicious meat, while at the same time making sure you know exactly where your beef is coming from.”
